James is a research practitioner of Emotional Intelligence with expert knowledge of the relationship between EI and job performance. He holds an MSc in Communication, Behaviour and Credibility Analysis, where he developed an academic understanding of EI and behaviour analysis in various personal and professional settings. He also holds a Diploma in Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching. He is a Certified Behaviour Analyst using the SCAnS method and is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute. 

Before becoming an E-Factor Facilitator, James ran his own financial advisory business, which he successfully grew and exited in 2022. James is highly supportive of entrepreneurs and the challenges they face in building their businesses.  According to James, EI abilities are essential for any entrepreneur who wants to develop themselves, high-performing teams, and win and retain clients.   

James blends a well-rounded approach of academic knowledge of people and business growth strategies and EI applications with real entrepreneurial experience. His expertise is ideally applied to small to medium businesses in the service sector, looking to utilise the scientifically proven benefits of EI abilities to develop their people and client interaction skills.
